PRIVATE FUNCTION ROOM (upstairs)
The Lounge Bar is a luxuriously sleek private function room. It can cater for up to 100 guests cocktail style, or up to 14 for a more intimate seated gathering.
The space is beautifully and styled with lush reds, floor to ceiling drapes and a feature mirrored bar inspired by the glamorous Spiegeltent era.

SEMI-PRIVATE FUNCTION SPACE (downstairs)
The Booth Bar is great for more casual functions, accommodating up to 50 guests cocktail style or up to 30 for a seated event. All guests are served from your own bar (nb. this space is sectioned off but is not a private room).
BEER GARDEN (OUTDOORS)
Our Beer Garden is a great space for informal events and is ideal for birthdays and other social functions. The area is decked out with outdoor tables, umbrellas, wall plants and festoon lights to give it a warm feel. It can hold up to 60 guests for standing events only. A DJ can be set up and organised in our Beer Garden.
NB. The area is more suited to warmer weather as it is not completely covered. A wet weather contingency is provided should the weather not be suitable on the day.
THE CORNER BAR
Our corner bar can be booked for casual get-togethers of up to 50 guests standing and is ideal for end of year Christmas parties, casual birthday get-togethers and other social functions.
THE MAIN BAR
In our main bar area downstairs we can host lunch or dinners for up to 30 guests offering full table service. This space is ideal for end of year Christmas parties, birthday celebrations and other social gatherings.

There are ample car parking options surrounding Temperance Hotel along with very easily accessible public transport (trams or trains), making this the perfect destination for your next event.
We have tailored our food and beverage packages to suit every type of function perfectly, however we are happy to customise a menu to suit specific requirements if needed.
MUSIC & AV
Offering your patrons a variety of music options is essential in this day and age, and when hiring The Lounge your choices are endless. Bring in a band, a DJ or your own digital music and we’ll connect it to our state of the art sound system. When booking The Booth Bar you will be connected to our in-house system, which will consist of either guest DJs, live music or a digital playlist for your listening pleasure. AV facilities are included with The Lounge function room hire, including a data projector, screen and wireless microphones for speeches and presentations.
